Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: One hundred forty patients (19-70 years old), scheduled to undergo thoracic surgery under one lung ventilation by inserting a double lumen tube under general anesthesia, are enrolled.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with gastroesophageal reflux, obesity, and recent upper respiratory tract infections, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and expected difficult intubation
