Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients who receive lumbar or thoracic spine surgery under general anesthesia with ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical class I-III, aged 20-80 years. Patients with modified Mallampati class III or higher in pre-anesthesia airway evaluation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who do not agree with the study Patients with a history of gastroesophageal reflux Patients who has not fasted Patients with congenital or acquired upper respiratory lesions (Ex. tumor, polyp, trauma, abscess, inflammation, foreign body, etc.) Patients with a history of airway-related surgery, radiation therapy Patients with increased risk of airway aspiration or coagulopathy patients who have severely weak teeth
