Interventions

Medical Device : Total 40 minutes&#39
microcurrent electrical stimulation or sham stimulation will be applied on both upper trapezius muscles daily for 2 weeks, total 14 times. All experimental and control groups will be took the standard
s application, after a week, 2 weeks and 4 weeks follow-up, all participants would be evaluated pain, quality of life, neck range of motion, and viscoelasticity.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: From 19 to 65 years of age who complain of chronic neck pain over 3 months with palpable nodules on upper trapezius muscles.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they (1) were diagnosed with fibromyalgia or other pain syndrome; (2) had a cervical radiculopathy; (3) had a atypcial facial neuralgia; (4) had a history of head, neck, cervical spine or shoulder surgery; (5) had narcotic analgesics or a history of the change of medicinel; (6) had a modality or other therapeutic interventions.
