Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: . Volunteers (35–65 years old), not serious disease . 27 = BMI = 23 (overweight or obese subjects) · fasting blood gluse < 126mg/dL

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Excluded were pregnant women, type 1 diabetics, those treated with insulin and any drugs to control blood glucose, blood lipids, and body weight, diuretics to control hypertension, and those using functional food products that might affect the results of this study. Subjects were excluded if they have any diagnosis of renal disease, liver disease, thyroid disease, cerebrovascular disease, gallbladder disease, stomach and intestines disease, gout, porphyrias, and depression, schizophrenia, mental disorders such as alcoholism, drug addiction. Excluded were allergic, sathma disease, those having surgery within 6 months history, received the diagnosis and treatment of cancer within 5 years. Also, subjects were excluded if they have frequent drinking and heavy schedule that might be difficult to supplement test products.
