Inclusion criteria: Patients who diagnosed with chronic hepatitis B between January 1 1998 and December 31 2015 at Asan Medical Center

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients who previously diagnosed hepatocellular carcinoma or concurrent HCC at diagnosis 2. patients who previously undewent liver transplantation
