Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: After obtaining the written informed consent, adult patients (aged 30 -90 yr) with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status classification I to II scheduled for elective unilateral arthroscopic shoulder surgery using stanadardized general anesthesia are divided to four groups.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pregnancy, uncontrolled hypertension (systolic blood pressure>=170mmHg), contralateral lung disease, allergic reaction to local anesthetics or dexmedetomidine, failure to provided written informed consent, systemic infection body weight >=90kg
