Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Patient scheduled to receive general anesthesia for elective surgery at E rosette of Asan Medical Center -American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status 1, 2 or 3 -A native Korean speaking Korean as a mother tongue -Normal bilateral hearing sense -Highest level of education completed: high school or higher -Patients who consented to participate in the trial

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patient who recieved any drug affecting central nervous system within 5 times the elimination half time of the drug before surgery -Allergic to propofol and sevoflurane -An illiterate patient -Patients who are considered by the investigator to be unsuitable to participate in the study for any other reason not mentioned in the inclusion and exclusion criteria
