Interventions

Drug : 60 selected patients were randomly assigned to two groups: a group of triazolam ( 0.375mg Halcion®

Pfizer, USA) and a group without triazolam (control). In the study, all drugs were orally administered 60 minutes ahead of surgery.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status 1 or 2 between the ages of 20 ~ 50 years body weights of 50 ~ 85 kg patients scheduled to undergo elective surgery under general anesthesia. informed consent forms from all subjects

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: the ages <19 years Patients who took painkillers, sleeping pills, anti-anxiety medications, or psychiatric medications within 1 week before surgery American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status = 3 preganacy obesity (body mass index [weight/height2] = 28) pulmonary disease such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma
