Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients provided written informed consent. Sixty male patients aged 30 to 80 years with American Society of Anesthesiologists status I or II who were scheduled forelective transurethral resection under general anesthesia were included in this study. Participants were randomly assigned to two groups.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe cardiovascular, neurologic, renal, or hepatic disorders,and those who were taking psychoactive drugs were excluded.
