Interventions

Drug : A total of 40 patients are involved in the study and separated into two groups, each comprised of 20 patients. Sorbact® compress is applied in one group, and Curavac® Silver in the other group.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who have infected open wound whose ages range from 20 to 85.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have at least one of the following conditions: malignant neoplasm, systemic infection or inflammation, intake of drugs delaying wound healing such as corticosteriods, immunosuppresive drugs and antineoplastics, uncontrolled diabetes(blood glucose level over 250mg/dl through 24 hours), malnutrition, and unfavorable vital sign.
