Interventions

Drug : 1. enema group (through-the-scope enema with polyethylene glycol 500 mL): 1) When poor bowel preparation is detected in the first colonoscopy, colonoscope is inserted as proximal as possible

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adult (aged 19-70) outpatient recipients who undergo colonoscopy for a range of symptoms and treatments. 2) Those who give informed consent to the study 3) Those who show poor bowel preparation in the first colonoscopy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) previous colectomy 2) severe constipation, idiopathic colonic pseudoobstruction 3) pregnancy, lactation, and possible pregnancy 4) acute exacerbation of inflammatory bowel disese 5) severe medical illness (major cardic, renal, metabolic and psychologic disorder) 6) allergy or suspicious allergy to polyethylene glycol 7) limited ambulation
