Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Study participants is adults aged 20-70 years who met the revised National Cholesterol Education Program Adult Treatment Panel III (NCEP-ATP III) criteria for metabolic syndrome

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - who took Mg, Zn, Cr supplements in the preceding 3 months, - who measured elevated liver enzyme levels (ALT > 129 IU/L), - who measured abnormal renal function(Creatinine > 1.5 mg/dL), - who had unstable hypertension, arrhythmia or a coronary heart disease event or hospitalization due to coronary heart disease in the preceding 6 months, - who suffered chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,or neuromuscular diseases, - who suffered substance abuse, or an unstable psychiatric condition, - who is pregnancy or in lactation.
