Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligibility inclusion criteria were that participants had to be enrolled stroke patients within 30 days of the onset of their symptoms as confirmed by imaging diagnosis, such as computerized tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were traumatic stroke patients, such as those with subarachnoid, subdural, or epidural hemorrhage.
