Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients referred for SETs of the esophagus or stomach between January 2009 and June 2014 in a large tertiary referral center, Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Seoul. Esophageal and gastric SETs 1 cm or larger in diameter that appeared suspicious on conventional diagnostic upper endoscopy were examined by radial EUS to assess the size, shape, and nature. Inclusion criteria were a size of >2cm, a tumor location of esophagus or stomach.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: vascular lesion, lipoma, cyst, or ectopic pancreas by radial EUS.
