Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 60 patients, 18-65 years, american society of anesthesiologist physical status I, II who were arranged for elective surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included: history of difficult intubation, larynx surgery, larynx radiotherapy, patients expected to have esophago-tracheal reflux; patients with a loose tooth; patients with a Mallampati classification of III or IV; current tracheal-, respiratory- or cardiovascular disease; patients with frequent episode of epistaxis, bleeding tendency, a body mass index (BMI) >= 35 kg/m2.
