Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients, aged 18–65 years, classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II, and scheduled to undergo elective laparoscopic colorectal surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: : febrile or hypothermic patients (preoperative tympanic temperature > 38.0°C or < 35.5°C) : patients with diabetes mellitus or thyroid diseases : patients with cardivascular diseases or patients taking calcium channel blockers
