Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 18-75 years old women patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA) I to II who were scheduled for elective unilateral breast tumor resection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included contraindications to PVBs such as coagulopathy, infection at injection site; history of allergy to local anesthetics, morphine, pregnancy; breast feeding; severe obesity (body mass index greater than 35 kg/m2); major psychosis; drug and alcohol abuse; chronic pain or long-term analgesic usage; and history of significant neurological, psychiatric, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal, or hepatic disease; language barrier.
