Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with symptomatic third- and fourth-degree hemorrhoids who are candidtates for hemorrhoidectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with concomitant anal disease (anal fissure, fistula, abscess, dermatitis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colititis) 2. Patients who are on treatment with antipsychotic or anti-anxiety medications 3. Patients who have previous anal operation histories
