Drug : The patients of dexmedetomidine group received 0.5 ?/kg of dexmedetomidine over 10 minutes followed by a maintenance infusion at a rate of 0.5 ?/kg /hr The patients of control group received 0.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (aged 20-65 years) scheduled to undergo laparoscopic nephrectomy in the decubitus position

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. severe obstructive or restrictive lung disease on PFT(pulmonary function test) 2. severe cardiac disease, bradycardia, 2 or 3 degree Atrioventricular block, sick sinus syndrome
