Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 or 2 Patients 19-65 years booked for operations on the hand or forearm requiring tourniquet for more than 1 hour

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA > 3, obesity, medication with vasoactive substances (e.g. antihypertensive drugs, sepsis, vasopressor), peripheral vascular disease, medication with aspirin, clopidogrel or high dose heparin/low molecular weight heparin.
