Drug : forty-eight patients undergoing elective urologic or lower limb surgery were randomized into the following two groups: Group B, bupivacaine 12.5mg alone

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) American Society of Anesthesiologist Patient Status I~II 2) 20 ~80 year old 3) patients undergoing elective urologic or lower limb surgery under spinal anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) coagulopathy or other bleeding diathesis 2) infection at the injection site for spinal anesthesai 3) history of allergy or hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics 4) age < 20 year old 5) history of arrhythmia 6) uncontrolled hypertension
