Interventions

Drug : We aimed to know how meperidine can reduce post procedural pain and discomfort after transrectal ultrasonography guided prostate biopsy under propofol anesthesia. Patients are allocated randoml

normal saline)or meperidine 0.5mg/kg(Group D). Afer anesthesia is induced with propofol 0.5mg/kg, transrectal ultrasonography guided prostate biopy is started. During procedure, additional propofol 0.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 30~80 year-old patients scheduled for transrectal ultrasono guided prostate biopsy who have no systemic disese or mild systemic disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients who received monamine oxidase inhibitors or antidepressant drugs or opioids chronically, who have active anal diseases, arrythmia, chronic obsrtuctive lung diseases.
