Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who visit emergency room due to gastrointestinal bleeding such as hematemesis and/or melena in 30 hospitals all over the country 2. Patiens who signed informed consent for this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Malignant ulcer confirmed histologically 2. Gastrointestinal hemorrhate other than peptic ulcer bleeding 3. Patients who do not agree to participate in this study 4. Peptic ulcer bleeding confirmed not by endoscopy, such as surgery 5. Iatrogenic ulcer occured after therapeutic endoscopy such as endoscopic resection
