Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We considered 60 patients, ASA physical status grade I or II, aged 18-70 years who were scheduled to undergo elective surgery, for inclusion in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a body mass index (BMI) greater than 35 kgm-2, those who were to undergo emergency operations and those expected to have difficult intubations were excluded
