Inclusion criteria: 1. patients who undergo elective on-pump cardiac surgery. 2. American society of anesthesiologits physical status III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. history of psychotic disease 2. history of carotid artery disease 3. history of cerebrovascular disease 4. patients who are not candidate for pulmonary artery catheterization 5. pregnancy
