Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) age = 65 2) high risk patients undergoing major abdominal surgery -gastrectomy, esophagus surgery, Whipple's operation, pancrease surgery, colorectal surgery - predicted operation time = 3 hours - predictied blood loss = 500ml

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) arrhythmia including atrial fibrillation 2) severe aortic insufficiency, intra-aortic balloon pump 3) BMI > 40 or <15 kg/m2
