Interventions

Procedure/Surgery : Sphincter of Oddi manometry were performed before ductography at ERCP in the conventional retrograde fashion. The method of EPLBD with EST was as follows
EST was performed with a pull-type sphincterotome (KD-6Q, Olympus, Tokyo, Japan) as the standard method and then inserted CRE ballon (15-16.5-18mm or 18-19-20mm, Boston Scientific Corp. Natick, MA, US

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who have large bile duct stones (stone diameter > 12mm) and do not perfom a previous ednoscopic sphincterotomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. coagulopathy (> 1.5 INR) 2. pregnant 3. Previous EST 4. Anticoagulants or antiplateate agents user 5. Stone diameter more than 50mm 6. Failure a selective bile duct cannulation 9. less than 18 years or more than 90 years
