Interventions

Drug : Inject midazolam 30mcg/kg or isovolemic normal saline intravenously before anesthetic induction.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. ages between 19 and 60 b. American Society anesthesiologists classification I or II , who are scheduled to undergo elective surgery requiring at least 3 cm long skin incision under general anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: the patient who (had) a. allergy to midazolam or remifentanil b. taking beta blocker or calcium channel blocker c. taking benzodiazepines,anti-psychotic drugs d. pregnant e. body weight more than 100kg of BMI more than 30
