Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For the intervention group of individuals, inhabitants aged 30 years or over, residing in Sancheong-gun in 2007-2010, and completed informed consent and stool examination to investigate C.sinensis infection, were included. For the intervention group of community leaders, participants in baseline survey to establish prospective cohort from 2004 to 2006 with the same inclusion criteria of individual intervention group, were included and followed up
