Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patient with lumbar radiating pain 2. age from 20 to 70 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. adverse reactions to contrast media 2. history of lumbar spine surgery 3. contraindication of epidural catheter insertion(infection, sepsis, coagulopathy) 4. patient refuse

Spreading pattern of contrast media 1.5, 3 ml at superior aspect of the superior intervertebral disc of corresponding spinal segment;Caudal and cranial spreading pattern of contrast media 1.5, 3 ml at anterior epidural space and posterior epidural space(based on the inserted cather and needle)
