Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects who showed intestinal metaplasia on the gastric biopsied specimen were recruited among our previous cohort population who underwent serum PG assay and anti-H. pylori IgG test on the day of upper gastrointestinal endoscopy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Did not repeat the same tests after >2 years at our center serum PG I <70 ng/ml and PG I/II> <3 at the initial diagnosis>
