Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy term parturients (37-41 weeks) with American Society of Anesthesiology Physical Status I and II, who were scheduled to undergo elective cesarean delivery under spinal anesthesia and to receive carbetocin.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women with preeclampsia, placenta previa, diabetes mellitus or hypertension which conditions could lead to cardiovascular instability
