Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We enroll children receiving ketamine sedation for primary wound repair. Enrolled children are aged 1 year to 5 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria include any concurrent illness involving vomiting; a previous adverse reaction to ketamine or ondansetron; any contraindications to the trial drugs; parents unwilling to provide informed consent; and lack of adequate sedation after the first dose of IM ketamine.
