Inclusion criteria: - Patients diagnosed with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis - Patients should reside in the study area at the time of diagnosis of Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis (For calculating prevalence, inhibitants in the study area at Dec 31, 2017 are included.)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - IBD unclassified - Other than Korean ethnicity
