Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged greater than 18 years old with the American Society of Anaesthesiology physical status I or II, were consecutively enrolled. Patients were scheduled for elective MIRPE.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were respiratory, cardiovascular, or neurological abnormalities or those patients taking any bronchoactive drugs (ß-agonists or antagonists, theophylline, anticholinergics, and corticosteroids).
