Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: EMR was indicated in patients with adenoma accompanied by any degree of dysplasia and in patients with early superficial gastric cancer.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ?coexistence of peptic ulcer ?coexistence of concomitant illness influencing anti-ulcer effect of PPI, such as systemic vasculitis, Behcet`s disease, eosinophilic gastritis?use of aspirin, non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug or glucocorticoid within 7 days of EMR ?pregnant women
