Interventions

Drug : The patients assigned to magnesium group(M group) received ketamine 0.2mg/kg and midazolam 0.1mg/kg were administered for 5 minutes as a loading dose, followed by a continuous infusion of ketam

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who were treated for CRPS at pain clinic of the Konkuk Medical Center were enrolled.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) another chronic pain syndrome, interfering with pain ratings, 2)other complaints interfering with pain ratings, 3)known kidney and/or severe liver disease, 4)malignant disease, 5)history of heart failure of angina pectoris, 6) pacemakers or implanted defibrillators, 7)pulmonary congestion, 8)history of drug abuse, and 9)pregnancy.
