Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who had elective MVP due to Mitral valve stenosis (>moderate) or mitral valve insufficiency (>moderate) in Konkuk University Medical Center from April 2011 to March 2012

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Other concurrent valvular surgery 2) Reduced left or right ventricular function (ejection fraction moderate or mitral valve insufficiency grade >moderate at post-MVP period 4) Patients who did not be performed 3-dimensional echocardiography during surgery 5) Patients who did not be performed transthoracic echocardiography at postoperative 7th day
