Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: COPD: post-bronchodilator FEV1/FVC 10 pack-years smoking hisotry Control: Pre-bronchodilator FEV1/FVC > 70% and FEV1 > 80% predicted and > 10 pack-years smoking history

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients physician-dianosed asthma 2. patients with bronchiectgasis, tuberculosis destroyed lung on chest X ray 3. segmental atelectasis or obstructive pneumonitis on chest CT 4. combined interstital lung disease on chest CT
