Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Korean children of American Society of Anesthesiology physical status I or II, aged from two to twelve years old scheduled for surgery requiring general anesthesia were consecutively enrolled between January 2008 and March 2010.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were children with neurologic abnormalities, psychological disorders, or developmental delay.
