Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consecutive acute ischemic stroke patients admitted within 7 days with relevant ischemic lesion on diffusion weighted image and vascular information.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient who did not perform neuropsychiatry exam, were assessed premorbid dementia (IQCODE = 3.61) and had depression were excluded.
