Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with lateral thalamic infarction resulting from atherosclerotic PCA or small vessel disease

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with concomittent infarcts in other vascular territories such as those having lesions in the temporal or occipital area.
