Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Twenty children with spastic cerebral palsy will be recruited through the outpatient physiatric clinic of the Daegu Catholic University Medical Center in Deagu. From 2011 to 2012, all children with cerebal palsy who will be scheduled for BoNT-A injections under mask anesthesia or local skin anesthesia will be recruited into this study. Consent will be obtained from parents or guardians prior to the procedure. Inclusion criteria will be: 1) Diagnosis of cerebral palsy verified by a child physiatrist, 2) ambulation with or without devices, and 3) spastic equines gait.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children will be excluded if they were involved in other BoNT-A study protocols. Exclusion criteria will be: 1) age of > 13 yrs, 2) previous serial casting or BTX-A treatment within 6 mons before enrolment, and 3) previous surgery on the lower limbs.
