Interventions

A single intranasal irradiation with narrowband UVB (310 nm) irradiation at a dose of 600 mJ/cm2 using phototherapy device equipped with LED (developed by Daiichi Medical).

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adult patients aged 20 or above. 2) Patients who were diagnosed as allergic rhinitis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with serious complications 2) Patients who was excluded by investigators

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in mRNA levels of histamine H1 receptor and allergy-related cytokines such as IL-4, 5 and 33.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Nasal symptoms and macroscopic findings of nasal mucosa.
