Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients diagnosed as colon cancer cStage 0 to IV, regardless of planned diverting stoma creation 2) Patients undergoing mechanical bowel preparation with laxatives plus chemical bowel preparation with antibiotics 3) 18 years old and over 4) ECOG-PS is 0 or 1 5) Written consent to participate in this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Emergency surgery cases 2) Cases expected to have severe intra-abdominal adhesions, such as after surgery for generalized peritonitis 3) Cases with lateral lymph node dissection 4) Cases scheduled for concomitant surgery 5) Other cases in which the investigator(s) deems it inappropriate

MeasureTime frame
Proportion of postoperative complications within 30 days after surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1) Short-term postoperative outcomes, including operative time, estimated blood loss, conversion rates to multiport robot-assisted surgery, laparoscopic surgery, or open surgery, and pathological findings. 2) Long-term postoperative outcomes, including 5-year overall survival, 5-year recurrence-free survival, sites and timing of colorectal cancer recurrence, and subsequent treatments for recurrence.
