Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with slowly progressive type 1 diabetes mellitus (probable) or suspected to have slowly progressive type 1 diabetes mellitus with positive islet-related autoantibodies.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe hepatic or renal dysfunction (AST>200U/L, ALT>200U/L, or eGFR<15mL/min/1.73m2) Use of GLP-1-related drugs that cannot be discontinued Unsuitable or contraindicated for Exenatide administration Alcohol, Tween 80, Metoclopramide and grucagon intolerance Other conditions that, in the judgment of the principal investigator/associate investigator, render the subject unsuitable for participation in this study
