Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients between 18 and 90 years old who necessitate percutaneous CT-guided biopsy or drainage for further treatment at Nagoya City University Hospital. 2. Patients with target lesions measuring 10 mm or larger in the longest diameter. 3. Patients who were obtained written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Women with pregnancy or its possibility. 2. Patients under anti-platelet/coagulation therapy.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The success rate of inserting a puncture needle into the targeted lesion.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Time to successful puncture, number of iterations, fluoroscopic time, radiation exposure, total operation time, perioperational complication rate, and length of hospitalization.
