Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: adults at least 20 years of age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: If they had any of the following conditions: ileus, suspected bowel obstruction or toxic megacolon; prior abdominal or pelvic surgery; inflammatory bowel disease; malignancy; severe cardiac disease (heart failure beyond NYHA Class III); chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, interstitial lung disease or uncontrolled asthma; renal failure and on dialysis, decompensated liver cirrhosis; coagulopathy or other hematologic disease with bleeding tendency; dementia or other cognitive disorders; or hypersensitivity to elobixibat. And if they were pregnant or breastfeeding.
