Interventions

Anesthesia is administered using an electric anesthetic injector for local anesthesia before sheath placement.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients aged 18 or older 2) Patients undergoing cerebrospinal angiography with sheath placement in the radial artery 3) Patients who are conscious and alert 4) Patients who have received a thorough explanation of the study, fully understand it, and have provided written consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with language disorders 2) Patients in whom evaluation using the Visual Analogue Scale is difficult due to visual and upper limb dysfunction 3) Patients with sensory system disorders caused by central or peripheral nerves in the puncture site area 4) Patients with allergies to local anesthetics 5) Pregnant women or women who may be pregnant 6) Breastfeeding women 7) Patients who have received other investigational drugs or trial medications within three months before the start of administration of the investigational drug 8) Other patients deemed inappropriate as subjects by the principal or sub-investigator

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Success or failure of the local anesthesia procedure: The procedure is successful if anesthesia is completed without drug side effects, allergic reactions, or device malfunctions during local anesthesia and sheath placement is successfully performed.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) scores at (1) local anesthesia (needle puncture and anesthetic injection), (2) vascular puncture, and (3) sheath insertion will be compared between the investigational drug/device and the standard procedure (historical data).
