Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Visual acuity and contrast sensitivity 3 months postoperatively. 2. Automated perimetry, visual acuity and contrast sensitivity 2 years postoperatively.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Visual acuity at 70 cm (3 months post-op) 2. Change in visual acuity and contrast sensitivity with visual field (3 months and 2 years post-op) 3. QOL questionnaire (pre-op & 3 months and 2 years post-op) 4. Influence of visual field change from 3 months to 2 years on visual acuity and contrast sensitivity
